Team Australia took on Team USA in the World Cup of Softball Monday night. In the bottom of the fifth inning, with Team USA already ahead 2-0, former Florida Gators standout Michelle Moultrie came to the plate. On the second pitch, she bunted ... and ended up with an inside-the-park home run.
As you can see in the video below, it was a textbook bunt for a surefire single, but a throwing error by the third baseman ended up giving Moultrie a round-tripper and staked Team USA to an insurance run. Check it out for yourself, because it's pretty great.
As Andy Hutchins notes at Alligator Army, Moultrie completes her circuit of the bases in just 12 seconds. Hang on, let me run the numbers here real quick.

Yep, turns out that's pretty fast. I doubt even Mike Trout could make something like this happen, and he's basically a mongoose with a rocket pack.
