Darren Rovell Says Farewell To CNBC, Is Forrest Gump

As we all know by now, Darren Rovell is switching channels, leaving CNBC to join UPN, where he will simultaneously step into the lead roles in The Sentinel, Nowhere Man, and Homeboys In Outer Space. He opens his farewell address to CNBC with the following:

Forrest Gump.

↵

That’s whose life I feel like I’ve lived over the past six years at CNBC.

We are either a) the first lady on the bench who doesn't give a shit about what he's talking about, or b) the rotund Southern gent who laughs off his Bubba Gump story. Lieutenant Dan is every nominated journalist Rovell beat for his Emmy. Everyone's Twitter feed is the Black Panther party he is ruining.

Darren Rovell is also Jenny.
