NCAA Football 13 will allow you to put a Heisman legend on any team you want

Jake Roth-US PRESSWIRE

NCAA Football 13 is giving fans a unique and potentially troubling opportunity.

Fans will be able to put Heisman legends on any college football team they choose. That's right, Tim Tebow, Cam Newton and other talented Heisman Trophy winners can dawn your school's jersey in the virtual world of college football.

This is an interesting feature, but there are definitely some weird combinations that could be created. In EA Sports' commercial for the game, they present a new team for Tebow that will give some fans nightmares. Check out the commercial after the jump.

Bulldog fans certainly won't enjoy the image of Tebow representing their club after the fits he caused the program while playing for Florida. Plenty of other strange combinations will be found. How about Cam Newton tossing passes for the Crimson Tide?

This feature is minor, and with few upgrades to hang their hat on, the NCAA Football 13 team is pushing this in their marketing ploy. Interesting strategy, and we'll see how this game is received on July 10 when it is scheduled to hit stores.
