Usain Bolt has been one of, if not, the story of the 2012 London Olympics. While he capped off his 2012 Olympic performance with a third gold medal and a world record in the men's 4x100m relay on Saturday, that performance may be hard to replicate in the 2016 Olympics.
After the race, Bolt was asked if he thought he could sweep the men's 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay in 2016 like he did in 2008 and 2012. Here was his answer, according to SportingLife.com:
"I've thought about it but I think it's going to be very hard because Yohan, he's just come into the game and he's running pretty well, and I'm sure there's going to be a lot more cats coming up to run.
"I'm just happy. I'll take it a step at a time."
For now, Bolt's perfect Olympic record of six starts and six golds remains intact. Only time will tell if he can make that a perfect nine golds in nine starts in Rio.
