Welcome back to Seattle, Matt Hasselbeck. Visiting his long-time professional football home, the Tennessee TItans quarterback threw a pass to Nate Washington. Brandon Browner made the pick and ran it in for a touchdown, putting Seattle on the board.
Browner had six interceptions last season during his breakout rookie year, scoring two touchdowns as part of a surprise Seattle secondary. He was playing in Canada from 2006 through 2010 before being pulled into the NFL by the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent.
Hasselbeck played in Seattle from 2001 through 2010, helping the team get to a Super Bowl. He completed 319 passes for 3,571 yards, 18 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He and second-year quarterback Jake Locker, a first-round pick, are locked in a quarterback battle this preseason. Hasselbeck has one completion on the night so far.
