This should end the argument that the New York Jets would've been a more interesting subject: Freshly released celebrity wide receiver Chad Johnson (né Ochocinco) was filmed by HBO's Hard Knocks cameras as he met with Miami head coach Joe Philbin shortly before his release, according to one report:

Translated: Johnson got fired on TV. While roster cuts are nothing new for Hard Knocks - each summer the program's narrative thread is built around a team sizing up position battles and trimming their roster before opening day - there's likely never been one with this amount of star power, and for these circumstances.
Considering Philbin wasn't a huge fan of Johnson's antics before his arrest, we expect a less than warm tone for this week's "dramatic" episode.
