Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson continued his reign of dominance Friday against the Baltimore Ravens. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson had a monster night in Friday night's preseason match-up against the Baltimore Ravens. Johnson had five catches for 117 yards and a touchdown. Of his five grabs on the evening, Johnson had a long of 57 yards against what many to predict to be a top defense in 2012.

Analysis: As a wide receiver, Calvin Johnson might be the most dominant player at his position today. No matter the competition, Johnson is a reliable fantasy contributor week-in and week-out. In a high flying NFC North division, Johnson is an elite player that will be asked to step up and score points for the Lions. Friday's performance by Calvin Johnson does not change his perception in fantasy, it just confirms it. As the first receiver off the board, Johnson should be a late first-early second round pick in most fantasy league's this season.
