Austin Collie Injury: Colts WR Leaves Game After Blow To Head

Stay connected with SB Nation

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Austin Collie had to be helped off the field and is on his way to the locker room after taking a nasty hit from Pittsburgh Steeler's linebacker Larry Foote.

Andrew Luck threaded a pass through the middle that Collie appeared to come down with as he was wrapped up, but Foote came in with an errant forearm that caught Collie solidly across the helmet.

Collie has a history of concussions, so it was no surprise when he left the game to get a few tests done in the locker room. It was his first target of the game.

To compound matters for Collie, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin challenged the call that the pass was complete and won, overturning the call.
