Serge Ibaka's 2012 Olympics stint with Team Spain might be his only one, as he was reportedly upset with coaches and his role on the team and has said he might not return in 2016, according to a report on ElMundo.es.
"If things continue like this I will not return," Ibaka is quoted in the report.
The recently extended Oklahoma City Thunder F/C had an inconsistent tenure in London for the silver medal winners, though he played his best game in the final against the U.S. The report says Ibaka was clandestine and distant from his Spanish teammates in London. Before the Games, the Congolese-born Ibaka was publicly confident that Spain could match up against the United States.
Ibaka led the NBA in blocks in 2012 with 241.
