The first Clasico of the 2012/13 season has now begun, and even though this is a friendly don't expect much in the way of smiles between these two teams. Barcelona and Real Madrid are the two best teams in world football, and their rivalry is, well, rather intense. Last season, it was Los Blancos who knocked the Catalans off their pedestal at the top of La Liga, so expect Barcelona to be looking for revenge in front of a rather partisan home crowd.
Madrid, in their usual whites, kick us off. It doesn't take long for the hosts to get control of the ball and pin Real in their own half, however, which actually suits Jose Mourinho's team just fine -- that means they can break forward while Barcelona have players pushed forward. They do succeed in breaking and stuttle the ball to the always-dangerous Cristiano Ronaldo, who dances down the left before being stopped by a hefty challenge from Gerard Pique. Yep. The Clasico is back.
