Jay Glazer reports that the Dolphins and the Colts have agreed to a trade that will send Vontae Davis to Indianapolis.
The Miami Dolphins have agreed to a trade that will send cornerback Vontae Davis to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for a second-round draft pick, according to a report by Fox Sports' Jay Glazer.
Davis was drafted by the Dolphins with the 25th pick in the 2009 NFL Draft and started 12 games with the team last season, recording 43 tackles and four interceptions. In his career Davis has 150 career tackles and nine interceptions. He recently had fallen out of favor with Dolphins coaches, which was something fans could watch first-hand thanks to HBO's "Hard Knocks."
Trade winds have been swirling around the Colts since owner Jim Irsay took to Twitter to suggest that a trade was imminent.
