Wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers has transferred to Tennessee Tech and took part in team meetings on Sunday, according to Austin Price of Volquest.com. Rogers is eligible to play immediately for Tennessee Tech, which is a Football Championship Subdivision team.

Rogers was suspended indefinitely by the Tennessee Volunteers for an unspecified violation of team rules. It was just the latest in a string of incidents for Rogers during his time with the Volunteers, and head coach Derek Dooley said afterward that he did not expect the troubled wide receiver to return to the team.
Rogers was an All-SEC selection in 2011 after he racked up 1,040 receiving yards and nine scores on 67 receptions. He was expected to be a focal point of a high-powered Tennessee passing game in 2012.
