Gregg Popovich Returned Stephen Jackson's Mixtapes

A mailbag starring Gregg Popovich is just about the greatest idea I have ever heard of. Kudos, Spurs official team site. The best answer stemmed from the best question: does Pop enjoy Stephen Jackson's music? (Note that this question and response followed Pop's effusive declaration of love for Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.)

Here's Pop:

Jack used to try to give me some of his tapes, but, first of all I couldn't even understand what was going on, and some of them you could even dance to, but once I started hearing what they were saying and everything I just gave them back.

He gave them back. He didn't just stick them in a drawer and forget all about them. He didn't throw them away. He gave them back. No wonder Jack respects Pop so much: is there anyone else in the league that would give Captain Jack his mixtapes back?

Speaking of which, here's Stack Jack's year-old music video. Salty language, obviously.

Later, Pop claims he's trying for the third time to read James Joyce's Ulysses but can't quite understand it all, denotes Stroh's as his beer of choice and says Kawhi Leonard will be a star.
