Two weeks ago, Jim Henderson was a 29-year-old relief pitcher with 313 career outings in the minor leagues, and none in the majors. He was pitching in Class AAA for an organization that boasted not one, but two bona fide closers in its major-league bullpen.

So of course Jim Henderson is now the Brewers' closer. Routinely painting the corners with 95-mile-an-hour fastballs, Henderson collected two saves -- his first two as a major leaguer -- within 24 hours against the first-place Reds.
