LeBron James's Passing Is Unfair

Stay connected with SB Nation

There's something about a great pass that makes it different than a thunderous dunk. Both are great, of course, but I can see why there's greater appreciation for the highlight pass.

Maybe it's because the pass is delivered due to a combination of on-court intelligence, timing, athleticism, repetition and instinct, whereas an athletic move for a score at least seems less complicated to pull off. It isn't, but perception is reality in this case.

With that in mind, here's LeBron James showing off the eyes in the back of his head against Australia in the quarterfinals of the 2012 Olympic basketball tournament.

That's just not fair.
