Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons will open their NFL preseason schedule against Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.
The Atlanta Falcons will open their 2012 NFL preseason schedule on Thursday night against the Baltimore Ravens at home. The final result doesn't matter, of course, but it's a game many fans will be interested in considering both teams were among the best in the league last season.
The majority of other NFL teams will look to feature their first round picks, but considering both teams chose to trade out of the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, the storylines in this game will likely revolve around the backfields featuring quarterbacks Joe Flacco and Matt Ryan.
Whichever team wins won't matter to the majority of football fans, but for those that are using the preseason to prepare for regular season betting, the Falcons enter the game as 2.5-point favorites.
