Jim Caple argues there's
an easy a really difficult solution to most of what ails Major League Baseball: Expand to 32 teams, adding franchises in Brooklyn and Montreal.
This would (ideally) result in the demise of the Wild Cards, with four four-team divisions in each league, and only the division winners qualifying for the postseason.
I'm all for teams in Montreal and Brooklyn. Of course, nothing so radical will happen under the current Commissioner. And he's going to live forever.↵
