The Texas A&M Aggies try to rebound from a tough home loss to the Florida Gators when they face their old Southwest Conference rivals the SMU Mustangs this weekend in Dallas. Texas A&M didn't play the opening week of the regular season and will try to get back in the win column against an old foe. You have to like their odds: The Aggies have not lost to the Mustangs since the Pony Express days, going 10-0-1 since 1984.
Texas A&M showed promise behind redshirt quarterback Johnny Manziel in their first game against the Gators this season, and their pass rush had a great day against Florida's offensive line. If Manziel can get going, it shouldn't take long before the Aggies have the opportunity to start rolling up the points on SMU, who gave up 59 points to Baylor the first week of the season.
Game time, TV channel: 3:30 PM ET, 12:30 PM PT. Available on FCS Atlantic and numerous local affiliates, mainly via the Fox Sports Net regionals. The 506 provides a list of channels showing the game; click here to view.
Point spread: A&M was favored by 12.5 to 13 points depending on the sportsbook.
