Nürnberg picked up a massive three points away to Borussia Mönchengladbach, sending the hosts to only their second loss in their last twenty two home matches.
Hiroshi Kiyotake takes home man of the match honors after creating two goals and scoring another.
Nürnberg scored on their first real chance of the match when Timm Klose headed Kiyotake's free kick past Marc-André ter Stegen. They doubled their lead eight minutes later when Timmy Simons headed home Kiyotake's corner.
Gladbach finally got on the board just before halftime when Luuk De Jong grabbed his first goal for the club on a pass from Patrick Herrmann. They found the equalizer just a few minutes later when Herrmann fed Granit Xhaka who finished past Raphael Schäfer.
The scoreline lasted only two minutes before Kiyotake struck again. The Japanese international cut through the Gladbach defense before finishing his shot into the corner of the net.
Gladbach would come close late with De Jong striking the post, but Nürnberg held on for all three points.
