Javi Garcia is booked for going in late on Sami Khedira. The former Benfica midfielder complains that he got some of the ball, but it wasn't very much of it and he got rather more of the player, so I don't see why he's wining. A few minutes earlier, Real Madrid put together another decent attack that ends with Gonzalo Higuain wriggling away from Vincent Kompany's attention and crossing for Marcelo, whose shot ends up going backwards. Whoops.
Oh! Now City have a corner! Granted, it's a deflected long-range effort from Yaya Toure that ends up trickling out of play near the corner flag, but that's progress. It's a shame about the execution of the set piece, but I suppose you can't always get what you want. Personally, I want goals. Please?
