The NFL spent the day talking with their locked out referees, their regular referees, to no avail. They might want to try a little harder next time, or just bite the bullet and give the officials a fair slice of the league's record profits. NBC's own Al Michael called the situation "ridiculous" on Sunday Night Football, as the Ravens and Patriots drew more than 20 penalties for oodles of yards. Ravens fans took a more direct approach in their criticism of the officiating.
