Mikel Leshoure injury update: Lions RB questionable

Don McPeak-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Detroit Lions running back Mikel Leshoure is officially listed as questionable on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions running back Mikel Leshoure is officially listed as questionable on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. Leshoure suffered a groin injury in last week's game, which was his first game back from suspension. He was limited all week in practice. Leshoure burst onto the scene last week with over 100 yards rushing and a touchdown.

Fantasy Impact: Mikel Leshoure has the upside to be a top-15 fantasy running back, but he needs to stay healthy. Coming off a torn achilles, Leshoure was an injury risk entering the season. He should be able to play on Sunday but has a tough matchup against the Vikings defense. You can probably find a better fantasy option this week.
