Cam Newton has had ten days to think about how the New York Giants beat him down on national TV in week three, and early it looks like the Carolina Panthers are looking to make amends. So far he's making an early impact against the Atlanta Falcons.
Working with a short field, Newton runs the zone option for a 30+ gain on the ground. This is the bread and butter of the Panthers' offense, and how they branch their offense. From there he was able to use his arm, as well as his legs to make the play.
This 18-yard touchdown pass to Greg Olsen put the Panthers up 7-to-0, but the Falcons are driving down the field. Will Cam Newton be able to keep his play at a high level, or will the vaunted Atlanta Falcons rise above?
