The Chicago Bears have risen to 9.5 to 11 point favorites as they face off with the Indianapolis Colts.

The Chicago Bears will be 9.5-to-11 point favorites against the Indianapolis Colts after opening up as nine-point favorites overall. Chicago is considered one of the favorites to win the NFC North, and Indianapolis is coming off a year where they finished 2-14, so it's not a huge surprise the Bears are heavily favored at home at Soldier Field.

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck will be making his first career NFL start in Chicago, which will probably be a rude awakening as he takes on what figures to be a formidable Bears defensive front. Meanwhile, Jay Cutler will try to lead a resurgent Chicago offense and get the Bears back on track against a Colts defense that is still in rebuilding mode.

In terms of totals, the Bears/Colts had an opening over/under of 40.5; it has now been raised up to 43 to 43.5 points depending on the sportsbook.

Talk about the odds with Bears fans by checking out Windy City Gridiron, and with Colts fans by going to Stampede Blue.
