For those that don't know, DeMatha is a high school in Maryland. A Catholic high school, in fact. These are important facts when you consider five DeMatha football players have been kicked off the team for allegedly soliciting prostitutes from a call service while out of state for a game. Yep!
The story comes from the Washington Post
According to the parent, players hired prostitutes from a call service in North Carolina, and some engaged in sexual activities with those prostitutes in a hotel room. According to the two people with knowledge of the situation, the incident occurred at 5 a.m. on Saturday morning after DeMatha's Friday night game.
[...]
According to the parent of a player involved, players snuck three prostitutes into the hotel at 5 a.m., after the final check. Players used a Web site to call and hire the prostitutes, according to the parent.
There were 18 -- EIGHTEEN -- chaperones keeping an eye on the students and checking beds all night. Yet those five players still allegedly managed to find a call service, then sneak in prostitutes at 5 a.m. the morning after the game. And they did so after finding a website and making a simple call.
So many questions here, so few answers. High school has changed a lot since my days.
