Expert predictions for the Packers and 49ers week 1 matchup.
The matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers may be one of the hardest fought week one games on the schedule, though many experts see the Packers as the heavy favorite this week.
Only three of the 14 NFL experts over at ESPN have picked the 49ers to win, with Mike Golic, Mike Ditka and Marcus Allen the lone trio picking San Francisco.
As for the folks at CBS Sports, not a single one of their nine football experts chose the 49ers to win.
Over at Walter Football, they have predicted the Packers winning by the score of 27-20, with 62 percent of Las Vegas bets going Green Bay's way so far.
Sports Illustrated's Peter King has also taken the Packers, predicting a 23-20 winning score.
