Saturday's matchup between the Gators and Aggies will mark the first career starts for both Florida's Jeff Driskel and Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel.

The game will be the Aggies' season opener and their first game as a member of the SEC. Thanks to their scheduled kickoff game against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs being postponed due to Hurricane Isaac, Texas A&M finds itself thrown into the mix with a longstanding SEC force.

Both the Aggies and the Missouri Tigers are in their first year in the SEC, college football's strongest conference in recent years. Saturday will also mark the first career start for Texas A&M redshirt freshman quarterback Johnny Manziel.

Gators coach Will Muschamp named Jeff Driskel the team's starter off the strength of a 10-for-16, 114-yard, one-touchdown passing performance in the Gators' 27-14 win over the Bowling Green Falcons in Week 1. No. 23 Florida (1-0, 0-0 SEC) will travel to the Texas A&M Aggies for their next game on Saturday.

Game time, TV channel: 3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN/WatchESPN

Point spread: Texas A&M is favored by 1 1/2 points.
