The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the Carolina Panthers Sunday in a NFC South matchup.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers look to start the regular season 1-0 as they meet in NFC South matchup at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.
This is the first game of the Greg Schiano era for the Buccaneers, who replaced Raheem Morris after he was fired following a 4-12 season last year. The team will rely on quarterback Josh Freeman and free agent signing Vincent Jackson to improve the Tampa Bay offense.
The Panthers on the other hand will try to improve from their 6-10 record in 2011.the Panthers offense will lean on second-year quarterback Cam Newton as he tried to improve after an electrifying rookie year in Carolina while first-round draft pick Luke Kuechly will lead the Panthers' defense at middle linebacker.
