DETROIT, MI - AUGUST 30: Brad Smith #16 of the Buffalo Bills returns a first quarter kick off between Ricardo Silva #39 and Reshard Langford #41 of the Detroit Lions during a pre season game at Ford Field on August 30, 2012 in Detroit, Michigan. (Photo by Gregory Shamus/Getty Images)
Brad Smith (groin) is probable. We break down the fantasy implications.
Brad Smith (groin) was limited on practice on Wednesday and Thursday before he sat out practice on Friday. He is probable for the Week 1 divisional matchup with the Jets.
Analysis: Before the Tim Tebow days, Brad Smith was one of the best wildcat quarterbacks in the league with the Jets. The Bills offered him huge money to the tune of four years for $15 million and ended his run in New York. Buffalo didn't really use him much last year with only 20 carries, 23 receptions and a pass attempt. He is probably fifth on the Bills WR totem pole for value and fantasy owners might need a telescope to find Brad Smith's to find it.
