Vernon Davis is a heck of an NFL tight end. If he's thinking of going into basketball, however, well ... he probably shouldn't quit his day job.
David scored a touchdown in the third quarter of the San Francisco 49ers' Week 1 matchup with the Green Bay Packers and tried to dunk the ball over the crossbar of the goalpost in celebration. He uh ... he wasn't successful.

My personal favorite part of this GIF is not that he failed at dunking, but that he tried to play it off afterwards like a cat that's just fallen off a table while cleaning itself. Huh? What? Meant to do that, jerks.
