Stay connected with SB Nation

Michael Ivins-USA TODAY Sports

The Patriots are set to host the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon, where New England will look to recreate the beat down that they laid down on Houston in Week 14. According to OddsShark, they have a good chance.

In Week 14, the Patriots defeated the Texans at home by a score of 42-14, and they'll be looking to recreate those results on Sunday afternoon at home in their Divisional Round matchup. The winner will play either the Broncos or Ravens in the AFC Championship. According to OddsShark, the Patriots are more likely to emerge victorious.

According to OddsShark, the Patriots are favored by 9.5 points, the largest spread of any Divisional Round matchup. The Texans limped to the finish line at the end of the regular season, and then knocked off the Bengals in the Wild Card Round by a score of 19-16 last week. The Patriots, on the other hand, finished the regular season with the top-ranked offense and a first-round bye.

The Patriots and Broncos have been favorites to battle in the AFC Championship game, but the Texans and Ravens could use their top-ranked defenses to knock off Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.
