The NBA is home to the silliest athletes in America. There's J.R. Smith and JaVale McGee and Nick Young and this guy, who belongs in that company for two main reasons: his unforgettable failure to capitalize on a miraculous four-point play opportunity in the 2002 Final Four, and this GIF right here.

This sort of wide-eyed, open-mouthed gawk is something you'll probably never see in real-world dealings. And then it just keeps going and going. Eventually, Boozer closed his mouth, feasted on a mouthful of plankton, and swam away to slumber in his alcove in the ocean deep.
