After a Peyton Manning fumble and a Ray Rice run, the Baltimore Ravens have tied the Broncos in Denver at 28-28.
The Broncos have been unable to take advantage of a couple of opportunities to put the Baltimore Ravens away for good in their Divisional playoff game in Denver, and the Ravens' defense may make them pay for it. Late in the third quarter, a Ravens sack caused a Peyton Manning fumble in Denver territory.
The Ravens then handed the ball over and over again to running back Ray Rice and just sat back and watched for a change on the scoreboard. After Rice set up the Ravens within 5 yards of the end zone thanks to a 32-yard run, Joe Flacco handed the ball right back to his trusty running back three straight times and watched Rice punch through into the end zone on a third-and-goal play. That score tied the game at 28-28, after the extra point, with less than a minute left in the third quarter.
Rice now has 83 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries in the game and the Ravens have scored 14 of their 28 points off of Broncos turnovers, one a pick-six and the other a Manning fumble.
