One of the nation's top recruits went north, and didn't find the weather to be appealing.

The Washington Huskies are hoping for a long-shot commit from one of the top linebackers of the 2013 class, but mother nature wasn't helping them out this weekend. Reuben Foster hails from Auburn, Ala., where the temperature sat in the low-70s over the weekend. It was much different in Seattle, where the high didn't break 40. Foster didn't exactly appreciate the frigid weather:

The Pacific Northwest is also known for rain, and Seattle is full of gray days in the winter. Foster was surprised to catch a rare sunny day January:

Could the unexpected sun outweigh the seasonally cold temperatures in Foster's mind? The Huskies will have to hope something impressed the recruit over the weekend, because they are behind some of the SEC's best in the fight for his services.

Foster was accompanied on the long trip by two linemen prospects out of LaGrange, GA: Maurice Swain and Joe Saunders. The latter is currently committed to Tennessee.
