This one's going to be plastered all over the Internet in the coming days, with good reason.
As if you needed any more evidence that Dwight Howard at the free-throw line in the final two minutes of a close game is bad news, he just did this with the Lakers down two against the Heat on Thursday night. Howard had been fouled when Steve Nash attempted a lob to him, and many wondered why Nash just didn't take the shot in the first place. After seeing this, those concerns made sense.
It's never a good time to air ball a free throw, but doing so in the final two minutes of a two-point game that everyone who remotely cares about basketball is watching is particularly rough. I hope Dwight is ready for the backlash he's going to receive.
