Ohio St. Buckeyes offensive tackle Reid Fragel will miss the Senior Bowl due to an injury, according to Bill Rabinowitz of the Columbus Dispatch. It's not clear what type of injury Fragel sustained, but a Senior Bowl spokesman said that it was not considered major. Defensive tackle John Simon is the only Ohio State representative left at the Senior Bowl.
Fragel began his career in Columbus as a tight end, but converted to tackle. At 6'8", 310 lbs, Fragel is considered a good prospect for the NFL. He played right tackle for the Buckeyes in 2012 after serving mostly as a blocking tight end for most of 2010 and 2011. For his career, he caught 14 passes for 185 yards and a touchdown.
Fragel was a key part of an Ohio State offensive line that paved the way for the nation's 10th ranked rushing offense, which clocked in over 242 yards per game on the ground.
