The Bulls will be shorthanded against the Lakers on Monday night. The Bulls are still waiting for Derrick Rose, but they'll also be without Luol Deng.
Is it possible that all of those minutes are catching up with Luol Deng? The Chicago Bulls lean heavily on their small forward, but will have to do without him for the second straight game. The team announced that Deng would be out against the Los Angeles Lakers. Jimmy Butler will start in his place.

Deng leads the league in minutes per game, but injured his right hamstring earlier this month against the Toronto Raptors. He re-injured his hamstring against the Boston Celtics and did not play against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Deng's replacement, Butler, had a strong game against the Grizzlies and scored 18 points. He will likely have the unenviable task of guarding Kobe Bryant tonight.
