Saturday provided many more thrilling moments and handed out a bevy of medals.
The 2013 X Games continued on Saturday afternoon, raging into their third day of hard-fought competition. The stakes were high, with five events coming to a climax.
The first was the Snowmobile Speed and Style, which was won by Levi LaVallee with a score of 90.963. Cory Davis finished second, coming in with a score of 85.66. Joe Parsons won the bronze-medal match.
Following that, the Men's Snowboard Slopestyle race produced Mark McMorris as the winner, with Maxence Parrot and Seppe Smits finishing second and third, respectively. For the women, Jamie Anderson took home gold, with Sarka Pancochova and Spencer O'Brien claiming the silver and bronze medals.
In the Big Air final, Henrik Harlaut won gold, with Kai Mahler and Elias Ambuhl earning the silver and bronze.
In the last event of the day, the Women's Snowboard Superpipe, Kelly Clark took the top spot with Elena Hight and Arielle Gold coming in second and third.
