The Boston Celtics got some horrible news when they found out that Rajon Rondo will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL. But the Celtics players and coaches aren't giving up yet.
The Boston Celtics escaped with a 100-98 victory in double overtime against the Miami Heat on Sunday, but that was hardly the biggest news to come out of Boston. Rajon Rondo received word that he had torn his ACL and would therefore be out for the rest of the year.
This is a huge blow, but the Celtics aren't going to just roll over and die, according to Doc Rivers.

The loss of Rondo is huge, but Paul Pierce expects others to step up and show what they can do.
#Celtics Paul Pierce: with system we have, Rondo being 40-min guy, lot of guys haven't had opp. to show what they can do. Now they will.
