Echoes have yet to wake.

Even the homeriest SEC homer in all of SEC homerland didn't see this coming. Alabama has pounded to a 14-0 lead against one of the nation's best defenses, and is on the verge of cracking through the end zone yet again (SPOILER ALERT: Alabama scored again -- it's 21-0 after 15 minutes) Follow along right here for scores, highlights and more throughout the game.

To put it simply: every single thing is going right for Alabama (even the officiating). The Tide are on pace for 812 yards worth of offense, while the Irish would have to mash the gas to crack 200 -- they're at all of 23 right now.

Eddie Lacy has hammered his way to 72 yards already, with pretty much all of that Irish defense other than nose tackle Louis Nix getting blasted off the ball. Backstop Manti Te'o, the Heisman finalist linebacker, has been all but invisible.
