A report suggests that Andray Blatche was the Brooklyn Nets player questioned for his connection to an investigation into an alleged sexual assault on Tuesday morning.

Andray Blatche was the Brooklyn Nets player questioned in connection to an investigation into an alleged sexual assault at a Philadelphia hotel early Tuesday morning, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News. Blatche also released the following statement on his Twitter account, though it is unclear whether it's related to the investigation.

Philadelphia police confirmed that "a member of the Nets" and his associates have been questioned about an alleged sexual assault involving a 21-year-old woman that occurred at 4 a.m. Tuesday morning. NBC Philadelphia reported that the Nets player was in the hotel suite, but not in the room at the time the alleged incident occurred.

The Nets issued a statement earlier Tuesday saying they are aware of the investigation and have no further comment. All healthy Nets players are expected to be in uniform when the Nets take on the 76ers on Tuesday night.
