Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez will meet Saturday night on HBO pay-per-view in a welterweight championship match. While many boxing pay-per-views feature long odds in the main event as they're built around the best fighters in the world and opponents can't quite stack up -- in recent years these cards being built around Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.
But Bradley vs. Marquez, the two men with recent wins over Pacquiao, will see very close odds when they step through the ropes on Saturday night.
Marquez opened as around a -175 favorite but currently is at -130 at 5Dimes and -150 at Bovada. Bradley is the underdog but currently is only at +120 at nearly every online sportsbook. If money pours in on Bradley late we could see the odds near a pick'em come the opening bell.
The over/under prop bet on the fight is -350 that the fight goes over nine and a half rounds and +230 that it ends before nine and a half.
We'll have much more coverage on the fight in the coming days, including live results and fallout from the event.
