Pistons vs. Warriors recap: Steph Curry leads Golden State to blowout win

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The Dubs showed out at Oracle Arena after a difficult four-game road trip.

The Warriors entered Tuesday night on a two-game losing streak, but that changed in a big way against the Detroit Pistons at Oracle Arena in Oakland. Golden State bombarded the Pistons with 60 percent shooting and excellent defense in a 113-95 blowout win.

Stephen Curry had a typical Steph night with 25 points on just 10 shots to go along with eight assists. Jermaine O'Neal reminded us he's still around with 17 points and six boards off the bench, and the Warriors improved to 5-3 on the season.

Meanwhile, things in Detroit are a bit disconcerting. The Pistons fell to 2-5, and while they're allowed time to adjust with the new roster they've brought in, the shooting is a big issue. Detroit hit just three shots from beyond the arc on 18 attempts. This was forecasted as a problem coming into the season, and it has been thus far.

The Warriors also showed their strength on the boards, outrebounding a huge Pistons team by a 43-34 margin for the game. Andre Drummond was a bright spot on a tough night for Detroit with 16 points and 14 rebounds.

Golden State faces Oklahoma City on Thursday in a matchup that can probably be described as "fun."
