James White's 2013 Slam Dunk Contest did not go as planned

Stay connected with SB Nation

James White's 2013 Slam Dunk Contest is probably over after he could not complete either of his standout dunks in the second round.

James White's first dunk in the 2013 Slam Dunk Contest was relatively disappointing, considering his massive hype. His second dunk? Yikes. The New York Knicks star and YouTube sensation tried several of the slams that made him an underground star, but completed none of them.

First, he tried to rock the cradle while switching hands, and he missed multiple times. Then, he tried to windmill from the free-throw line, and he missed multiple times. Here's the last of those misses:

So much for Flight's coming-out party. White scored the minimum score of 30 on his dunk.

AESTHETICS

Both dunks were ones we've seen in White's YouTube videos, and they would have been awesome if completed. Alas, neither was.

SB NATION'S SCORE

It had to be a 30, but I think White would have scored a 50 if he completed either dunk.
