Tony Allen on Twitter was the best thing about the 2013 NBA All-Star Game

USA TODAY Sports

Sadly, Tony Allen stopped after the first half, but the material he came up with was good enough to give him a case against Chris Paul for the MVP award.

The 2013 NBA All-Star Game ended up being really entertaining, but for a while there, it looked like it would be like many All-Star games: amusing, but ultimately pretty boring. Luckily, for us, during those stretches, we had Tony Allen.

The Memphis Grizzlies' starting shooting guard and Twitter sensation was on top of his game as long as he was online. Sadly, he abruptly disappeared after the first half, but the material he provided before then was more than enough to challenge Chris Paul for the MVP crown. Let's recap Allen's night.

TONY ALLEN ON KE$HA

Given that Ke$ha tends to pander to a much younger crowd, this actually isn't that far off. Some may say that Allen doesn't know who Ke$ha is. I say he knows exactly who Ke$ha is. Is there a better possible description of her than this?

TONY ALLEN ON THE PLAYERS' JACKETS

Actual resumes on the coat instead of patches would be really entertaining.

TONY ALLEN'S NE-YO RANT

While everyone else was wondering why Ne-Yo was performing the introductions, Tony Allen was overjoyed. Let him explain why.

If it works for Tony Allen, maybe it should work for everyone else. Hopefully, Allen's admission will convince others to come clean.

TONY ALLEN MAKES HIS ALLEGIANCES KNOWN
