The List: Slogans for America's potential Olympics cities

The U.S. Olympic committee has sent letters to 35 cities to gauge their interest in hosting the 2024 Summer Olympics. Here are some slogans they can use.

1. Tulsa: "The little town that could, but would rather not."

2. Houston: "25 lighters on every dresser to light the torch."

3. Seattle: "The Vancouver you've been to."

4. Sacramento: "Soon to have an empty arena just, like, there for the taking."

5. Phoenix: "The perfect place for a marathon in the middle of summer."

6. Atlanta: "Huh? Oh yeah."

7. New York: "The New York Olympics: Only in New York!"

8. Indianapolis: "Indianapolimpiad! Do you hate us yet?"

9. Boston: "Try our slurs!"

10. St. Louis: "Kind of like East and West Berlin."

11. Memphis: "Olympic rangs doin' thangs."

12. Nashville: "Residents Jack White and Johnny Depp give us the gold in Annoying Pixie Genius Manboying."

13. Portland: "More like SPORTland!"
