This is not the best way to defend a last-second shot before halftime. The Wolves were a bit too ambitious and gave the Thunder some free points.
Russell Westbrook is a very good player. But he's not the most efficient player when chucking up off-balanced shots right before halftime. But apparently, the Minnesota Timberwolves figured that their best strategy was to put Russ at the line for some free throws.
Bold strategy.
