The 40 is a bit of a pointless exercise for offensive linemen, but it's still pretty fun to watch. Especially in slow-mo.
Say what you want about the NFL Combine, but it's still kind of fun watching very large men run the 40-yard dash. This isn't a practical exercise at all: Offensive linemen will very rarely run 40 yards at top speed without blocking in an actual game situation. In fact, the only thing that really matters is the first 10 yards to get an idea of the lineman's quick acceleration around the line of scrimmage.
But still, it's fun to watch the big fellas get up and moving. And it's even more fun to watch them do it in slow-mo.
Hello Eric Herman!
Just so hypnotizing.
