The Wildcats continue their Pac-12 dominance, completing their season sweep of the Cougars.
Kevin Parrom got hot from behind the arc to lead Arizona over Washington State 73-56.
The senior swingman had 19 points to lead all Wildcat scorers, hitting 5-of-6 from downtown. The Cougars got 20 from Brock Motum, but couldn't overcome an early deficit created when WSU went without a field goal for eight minutes. D.J. Shelton broke the scoreless streak to bring the Cougars within 11, but that was as close as Ken Bone's would get on the night.
Super freshman Kaleb Tarczewski scored 12 points and pulled six boards for the No. 12 Wildcats, while Mark Lyons added 14 points on 5-of-11 shooting. DaVonte Lacy was the only other Cougar in double-digits with 10 as WSU drops to 2-13 in Pac-12 play.
The Wildcats improve to 11-4 in conference play, and for the moment hold a half-game advantage over Oregon. The Ducks take on Stanford Saturday and will need a win to keep pace with Arizona.
