He got his 14th at halftime in Denver.
The Lakers had a pretty unpleasant first half and, after taking exception to a non-call at the buzzer, Kobe Bryant unleashed his grouchiness on a nearby referee. Bryant got a walk-off technical foul, putting him at a league-leading 14 for the season.
With a couple dozen games to go, Bryant is two technicals away from earning a suspension. You get a one-game ban on the sixteenth, then an additional game for every two techs thereafter. He's flirted with that number before without actually crossing it, and he'll have to lock it up again to avoid further diminishing the Lakers' chances of making the playoffs.
